Carter can provide everything you might need help with on your project: schematic design, space planning, specification of all internal fixtures and finishes, sourcing and supply of furniture, lighting, curtains and accessories, colour consulting, custom furniture and lighting design, 3D representation and collaboration with architects on large building projects. He can even advise on how a property might be made to work for you before you even buy it.

Carter is committed to offering a flexible approach tailored to your requirements and budget. This means that he doesn’t just do large scale projects, houses and apartments, but is equally happy redecorating a single room or simply providing a few hours of his time to clients who are just looking for some great ideas, or a solution to some niggling problem. Carter believes that everyone should have access to the very best design expertise without having to sign up for some form of expensive long-term relationship. A bit of objective, professional clarity before a project starts can often help clients avoid not only disappointment, but also potentially costly mistakes.

Charges for Carter’s time vary according to the size and complexity of the work. His hourly rate is £85, and he has a minimum “call out” charge of £170. On larger jobs, he will normally agree a fixed fee based on the number of days estimated to carry out the work. Goods and services will always be supplied on a “cost plus” basis. This means that he will charge you the trade price with an agreed mark up. His charges will be clearly explained in advance, and are always confirmed in writing.

Whatever your budget, Carter will do everything he can to make sure it goes as far as possible.
